Vomiting or feeling nauseated may occur with CKD. Vomiting is a common cause for patients with Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Failure. The reason why patients with kidney failure have vomiting will be explained for you as followings. Have a good diet maybe helpful for the patients with vomitting

Fat: You need some fat in your meal plan to stay healthy. Fat gives you energy and helps you use some of the vitamins in your food.

  • Vegetable oils
  • Butter
  • Lard
  • Shortening
  • Meats

Phosphorus: Phosphorus is a mineral found in many foods. It works with calcium and vitamin D to keep bones healthy. Healthy kidneys keep the right balance of phosphorus in your body.

  • Italian, French or sourdough bread
  • Corn or rice cereals and cream of wheat
  • Unsalted popcorn
  • Some light-colored sodas and lemonade
